Such an amazing stay! The place is a LOT more remote than I thought, because I didn't check the map properly, but it was an amazing, if unexpected, escape from the city. Despite our poor planning, the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we got everything we needed. The room and facilities were beautiful and immaculate! The landscape and environment were unbeatable! We saw monkeys! Just wild! By the side of the road! Treat yourself to an ebike ride around the town and check out the fishing pond that cooks the fish for you (kunugi fish farm) and the incomparable cafe (古家cafe自然坊), the food was delicious and wildly affordable and the staff unbelievably welcoming. Best accidental trip to rural Japan I can imagine taking!! Thank you so much Hana and family ❤️❤️❤️

The host was extremely kind, showing us a large building with a spacious floor, hammocks to relax in, and a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji (weather permitting). He also prepared a cozy BBQ area with lights and treated us to delicious homemade takoyaki cooked over the fire. A truly great experience! We loved staying here, the location is a little far off and you should arrange pick-up from Nishi-Fujinomiya station or otherwise take a bus and walk 1.5km. But the fact that it's a little far is a good thing, it's very nice to walk around the there are many interesting places at walking distance. From here is easy to visit Shiraito Falls and Lake Tanuki only one bus way. The views of Fuji-San were spectacular. The guesthouse is very comfortable and clean, the food is delicious and the owners where super friendly and helpful. Would totally recommend of you are looking for a off the beaten path experience!

Good day to all! We stayed in this wonderful house for 3 days. This is a great place to get away from the crazy rhythm of big cities. We were given 2 large rooms for 4 guests. The owner was extremely polite, tactful, kindly received us, met us at the nearest station. Upon arrival, we were fed to our fill with traditional Japanese food. The owner explained to us all the intricacies and rules of eating. For me, a trip to Mount Fuji is a childhood dream. It felt like I came to my grandfather in the village. We tried to help owner, although we were not obliged to. My wife and child helped set the table, I helped wash the dishes. We also met another guest, with whom we quickly found a common language, since everyone who comes to this place is looking for what they will find here. Having rested, we continue our journey through Japan further, after which we will return to Russia with amazing memories and new acquaintances. Thank you, with respect, Denis and his family!
