    The food was really good and the meals were large, so worth the price. The room was beautiful and clean, and staff were kind and helpful. The bath locations and temperature had variation, to meet all kinds of needs. Location itself was beautiful as well and the locals were friendly, definitely recommend walking around. There is a small town, dam, and a beautiful lake upstream of the river as well as a couple small shrines along the way.

    The food, the service, the location. It was something straight out of a fairy tale. 11/10, would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Japan.

    Calm location right next to river. Onsens were beautiful. Grear services all round. Some English staff and bit of Google Translate means everything sorted very easily.

    Incredibly comfortable, the onsen was great, the atmosphere was class rustic Japan, the meals were superb, and the beer was cheap, delicious and readily available

    Great highrise riverside ryokan furnished with good taste of traditional interior. Much better than many ryokans of this type which use cheaper artificial materials. The private onsen was fabulous and met our expectation.

    The whole facility was very clean and spacious including the rooms. Relaxing indoor and outdoor onsen baths. Nice Japanese breakfast, however you have to book it in advance. Friendly and helpful staff.
