The house is just so beautiful! The brilliance of Traditional meets modern in a functional and aesthetically beautiful way. There is parking at the front a small space for a small car. We were greeted so warmly, with the house warmed up, and it stocked with some essentials already. The house was well stocked with utensils and cooking items, we went to the supermarket not far from the house and cooked up a lovely dinner in the kitchen. The kotatsu was so warm and comfortable, the bedrooms had very soft comfortable mattresses and pillows as well! The house is very close to Ozu castle and it’s a lovely and short walk through the suburb to get there and if you want more of a walk there is access to the river that is next to the castle that has a lovely scenic walk. I would definitely recommend a stay and if I am ever back with the family I will stay again!

This charming Japanese style house was old but very well appointed with a new, hot shower and toilet. The beds were comfortable and warm, even in the very cold weather experienced that day. The owner was a nice, friendly guy who introduced us to the house, and the affectionate old house cat. We loved our stay here and can highly recommend it for a unique Iyo-Ouzu stay.

The guesthouse building had been recently renovated, and everything inside looked modern and pristine. The whole place was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner was very welcoming, providing me with recommendations on nearby restaurants and preparing me a coffee in the morning. Since it was a quiet day at the guesthouse, he was even kind enough take me to see a local waterfall before dropping me off at the train station.

Katsu was an amazing Host. He showed me the good spots around Seiyo and even invited me over to bis friends house for a drink in the evening. The House is quite big and has a lot of comfortable places to enjoy the nature and the countryside. I recommend it to everybody who is in the area and is looking for a place to stay.

One of our best stays in Japan. We regretted not checking in earlier and staying longer. The house is incredible. It is so moody, quaint, and amazing decorated. Really spacious and plenty of ammenties. It is even bigger than we anticipated. We loved the smaller cosy rooms to the side. Especially the room with the record player. The location is the cherry on the cake as it is so tranquil The owner of the places is incredibly kind and recommened us to a restaurant in town. She even called a taxi for us. She also speaks really good English. One day, we'll be back and hoping to stay longer. It is a perfect place to relax off the beaten path in a typical non touristy village.

We were lucky enough to spent a wonderful time with our host, who speaks english very well. She was very friendly and had enough time for us to show us all the amenities and our wonderful room. Use your time to look at her art and what she sells of it, she is very talented, we've got wonderful pieces that will always remind us of our time there. 10/10 – Exceptional hospitality and unforgettable stay This was by far the warmest and most welcoming place we stayed during our entire road trip through Shikoku. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and their kindness made a real difference – especially when we had unexpected trouble with our rental car (they helped us without hesitation!).
