The staff was very kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was amazing. The garden is extremely beautiful, and we enjoyed having a drink there in the evening. It was very easy to reach from the city center of Kyoto. For us the best way was to take the train to reach the city, but when we left (with many luggage) we asked the reception to call us a taxi to Kokusaikaikan station (8 min by taxi), then we took the metro to arrive at Kyoto Train Station, that was a very good, fast and cheap solution. Even if our aim was to visit Kyoto for the first time, we enjoyed a lot staying in that area, not full of tourists, but immersed in the nature.
