Beautiful location with water views from bed. Quite isolated but lovely for relaxing retreat. Comfortable bed. Fantastic shower with a view. Fantastic deck overlooking the water and trees. Lovely to have our own space.

Great place for a large family or group of friends. Wish we had stayed longer so we could take advantage of the sauna and the fire pit. Wonderful to see the sun rise over the sea in the morning. Very clean and all you need for a self catering stay. The futons were very comfy.

The hosts Yoshiko and David were incredibly friendly and caring. Breakfast served was wonderful, egg, fruit and yoghurt. The house had been carefully been renovated 5 years ago. The setting in the valley is wonderful. We could swim in the river just 2 min walk from the house.

To stay with the young couple host was great, picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the bus station each day to do our excursions. Surrounded by farm land & greenery! Are dinner together and chatted in the evenings. Noah the dog is very cute too 😁

Beatiful, spacious house. Bathroom is separated from the main building which some may find difficult - it was not an issue for us, just an added flavour. + Nature! Peace and quiet :) + Relaxing river sounds + Parking spots (few options just next to the building) + Amazing hosts! Their English is very good. They recommended great izakaya and even made a reservation for us. + Breakfasts 11/10, soo goooooood! + Best washing machine of our over 4 week visit to Japan :) + You can visit all of Shikoku by car from TOSAYAMA BASE

The place was amazing. It has a private view to the famous bridge from the Anime and the living room and kitchen also the bath room were fully renovated . The garden is also pretty wide and you can do some bbq with your family or friends. The sky at night is so impressive . I have never saw that much stars in my life .(that’s how much the air is clean.) Amenity wise there was everything I needed. I am very looking forward to come back with my family next time .
