Amazing place. You should expect basic, no fans, bucket shower and no phone service (you can go have a drink to the place on the other beach if needed). Good bunk beds with mosquitos net. The place is perfect to chill, with nice commun area in the center. The breakfast included is simple but good (coffee not included). The food is good and you have some choices. You can walk on the island, have boat trip or just hang out. Great staff and good mood all around.

This was an excellent choice for a few days relaxing after extensive site-seeing in Cambodia. Traditional style hotel in a large, very pleasent garden. Nice birds singing "good morming" and "good night". Very good breakfast. Fresh fruits. Very pleasant and clean pool. Very friendly staff. We have been helped to buy famous Cambodian peper not available nearby. Not overcrowded. Highly recommended.

The lady, who owns the place is such an exceptional person that she alone adds 3 extra points to the rating.:) Nevertheless, the bungalows were also absolutely fine, clean and comfortable. The community area is cozy, equipped with some cheeky cats and very interesting guests to talk to. I hope that this little heaven with its pretty garden can stay longer..!

Staying at the Kactus resort felt like being in a little sheltered paradise close to nature. I particularly appreciated the true attempts to establish a sustainable eco-tourism approach in dialogue with customers, while keeping a laid-back and uncomplicated attitude. Very quiet place, relaxing atmosphere, calm sea, nak is wonderful host, he speaks so good English so you can really have a nice talk with him..his partner Nan is very sweet and cooks very well,. Bungalows are simple, anyway you don't need something more than simplicity here...bonus is there are 2 beds, both with mosquito net, one is outside area so you are really sleeping under the stars, 💓💓 so unique and so wonderful, i wish Nak the best!!
