My wife and I had an amazing experience here. The location, facilities, and hospitality were more than anyone can ask for. I wish I could've spent longer here, and we especially loved spending time with their dog, Akzholtai.

Nice guesthouse run by an incredibly nice and welcoming family! Located in a small village not far from Saty, it is nice and quiet and possible to walk up on the nearby hills to watch the sunset. Meals were also delicious, and although they didn’t speak perfect English, they were very nice and were able to make conversation using translators:)

Their warmth and hospitality are truly exceptional — from the very first step into the house until the moment I left, I felt cared for and at home. They treat their guests like family, and their thoughtful protocols ensured a safe and comfortable visit. The homemade meals at Kausar House were unforgettable. Every breakfast and dinner was prepared with love and care, bursting with authentic flavors that made each bite a delight. It’s clear that food is a labor of love here, and I felt so fortunate to enjoy such delicious, heartfelt cooking. What truly made my stay special was the family’s incredible support. They went out of their way to help me plan visits to the nearby lakes, sharing invaluable tips and making sure I had the best experience possible. A special mention to little Kausar — her kindness, helpfulness, and bright spirit added so much joy to my visit. I also loved the chance to meet their friendly dogs and sheep, which added to the authentic countryside experience and made my short stay even more memorable. Although I was only there for two days, it felt like a home away from home, and I’m already looking forward to returning and staying longer next time. Kausar House is not just a place to stay — it’s a heartfelt experience filled with warmth, beauty, and genuine human connection. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with incredible hospitality in a stunning natural setting.

Good location and personal, also good design

Amazing, it totally met our expectations and the views were stunning.

The house was very modern and well designed. It offered lovely views and was equipped with all the necessary items. A small terrace served as a perfect spot for star gazing and admiring wild nature. The place was very quiet and secluded and at the same time you could reach the main street with shops and restaurants within a 10 min walk. Great location to discover the area. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Staying here was a truly unique experience, would love to come back one day.

It is a luxury yurta, with all amenities of a very nice accomodation (heating, private toilet and shower, nice and big room, wifi) but also the advantages of being immersed in the nature, with a transparent ceiling to admire the sky and a very nice view of the river and the mountains. The owners are lovely, taking good care of everything, from cleaning to preparing dinner and breakfast, always with a nice smile. Kolsay lake is just 3 minutes drive so I highly recommend staying here for the night and appreciating the peaceful environment.

Perfect location ! About 30 walk of the lake ! There is even a cave to visit on the way. Food both dinner and breakfastincluded Homemade food ! Clean and and everything we needed in the room ! The lady was really friendly and helped us with everything we needed !
