The large rural apartment is well appointed to hotel standard. The bed is very comfortable and both bed rooms have tv's and good a/c.. The quality of the fittings and kitchen equipment is good. Essentials like salt pepper tea coffee and loo roll are all to hand. Plenty of towels. The hosts live nearby and are better than professional in their approach and being. The property was spotlessly clean. The property is rural but a short walk from the shop and to the exceptional breakfast included. This is where you can experience the real St Lucia and feel the pride Kennedy and Justine have in their island paradise.

One of the standout aspects of my stay was the refreshing air that permeated the entire property. The location of Zamaca allows for a gentle breeze to flow through, making it incredibly pleasant and eliminating the need for air conditioning. It was a true delight to be able to breathe in the fresh, clean air and feel so connected to nature. However, what truly set my experience at Zamaca apart was the warmth and hospitality of John and Helen, the owners of the property. From the moment I met them, I felt like a part of their extended family. Helen's cooking skills are nothing short of exceptional, and I couldn't help but feel like I was enjoying meals prepared by my own loving and talented god-fearing aunt. Her dishes were not only delicious but also infused with love and care. John and Helen went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They were always available to provide recommendations for activities and sights to explore on the island, ensuring that I had a fantastic time during my stay. Their genuine kindness and welcoming nature truly made me feel at home. In conclusion, Zamaca in St. Lucia offers a breathtaking view of the Atlantic, refreshing air, great conversations, and an exceptional level of hospitality from John and Helen. I liked the cleanliness of the villa and the friendliness of the host and housekeeper, who came regularly to support the upkeep of the villa.

Kimberley, her husband and team are lovely and will cook you tasty breakfasts every morning and give you all the advice you need to enjoy your stay. Delicious dishes are also waiting for you on lunch and dinner (extra charge). They are very flexible with hours if you have planned some activities that require you to leave early. For us, it was diving on day trips , 1 hr away from the B&B ! Villa location ‘Anse la raye’ is a fisherman village, there is not much to do except meet the locals ;) As it is centric, it will require a bit of driving to explore the island but it is great as you can choose to go either north (busy hotels area and white sandy beaches) or south (pitons, trek, diving, snorkeling, volcanic beaches). Summary : Our stay went beyond our expectations, we strongly recommend Belle La Maye for your vacation ! TIPS : - Try the smoked RIBS at the villa ;) - snorkel / day trip at anse cochon (Ti Kaye resort day pass $10/p) - explore soufrière and the pitons right after an early breakfast at the villa - dive at anse chastanet - spend some time at the pool with a Piton beer in your hand ;) -dinner at Bennys nearby (call before showing up) or ChIco ritos food truck Thank you St Lucia
