I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. My stay at Eden Kandy Guest House was honestly unforgettable. The place is spotless and thoughtfully designed, with a beautiful garden, a shared kitchen, and cozy little spaces for reading or relaxing. Books are everywhere, free tea and coffee are always available, and the whole space feels warm and welcoming — more like staying in someone’s home than at a guesthouse. The real highlight, though, is Udaya. He’s one of those rare hosts who genuinely cares. From small details to big arrangements, he always made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Even after I left Kandy, he helped me organize a fantastic driver for my onward trip and kept in touch to make sure all was going smoothly — such a thoughtful gesture. The location is great too: peaceful and quiet, but still an easy walk into the city and close to all the main sights. I left feeling not just rested but uplifted by the kindness and positivity here. And considering everything that’s included, the value is incredible. If you’re heading to Kandy, I can’t recommend Eden Kandy enough — it’s the kind of place you’ll remember long after you’ve left.

The place is amazing in every single way. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Outstanding views and very quiet area, just 15 mins away from the city centre by tuk tuk. The family is lovely and very helpful. The food and the cooking class are beyond words. I definitely recommend this homestay to everyone one.
