It was amazing to stay in this apartment. Great location, 2 amazing restaurants only 2 min walk, 4 min to the best beach in Bentota. AC works great, king size bed 😍. But the best about this vacation were our hosts. They are super friendly and welcoming. They organised all excursions for us🙂 and always recommended places to visit and see. 🥰

Great room with a nice balcony with river view, good airco, nice shower, good bed. Friendly owner who offers a free transport to the other side of the lake, where you have access to the beautiful Ventura beach. This beach is easily one of the best beaches we have seen in Sri Lanka: unspoiled, tranquil, very nice zand, cute waves... just incredible! Make sure you get there to enjoy this still widely unknown hidden gem.

We loved everything. It was our first stay in Sri Lanka and it couldn’t have been any better. The team helped us with everything: airport transfer, boat safari, turtle farm, restaurant recommendations, etc. Also the very early arrival wasn’t an issue, they even arranged an extra breakfest for us. The accomodotion was very clean and the swimming pool perfect.

Outstanding place Excellent breakfast Kind hosting family. Very kind morning waiter. Excellent English speakers...an opportunity to chat about lot of subjects. They really care for your comfort. Every amenity has a special touch , from flowers to napkins. Provided also assistance for shopping, dinner, trips and airport transfer. An ideal place to spend 3 nights. Very near the beach, multiple restaurants, local shops and snack bars. The property itself is extremely well kept by Jaya. I loved eating his freshly grown fruit for breakfast, and he's really interesting and helpful, particularly with local knowledge. Amazing guesthouse in a peaceful location near the Bentota Ganga river. Clean, cozy, modernly furnished and air-conditioned apartment with a double bed, bedside tables and two armchairs. a kitchenette with a fridge, stove, kettle and toaster. Bathroom with toilet and hot running water. The owner is kind, friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Delicious and rich continental breakfast. I definitely recommend it.

    If you're looking for a hotel Sri Lanka for some rest and relaxation, Villa Thamburu is ideal! The location is great offering easy access to a lovely, quiet beach. The staff great too. All were incredibly polite, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile for us. The food was also a highlight. I can't imagine anywhere else in Bentota could match it. The hotel itself was beautiful too!

    Prianthi and Raj were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and the location so close to the beach, a few restaurants (Happy Garden!) and the train station was ideal. And the breakfast was really lovely. I'd definitely recommend the place.
