I stayed at this accommodation for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The owner is very nice and gave me a lot of support in planning the journey to and from the hotel. He also planned the safari for me. This was a great experience as the guide had a lot of knowledge. Another highlight was the dinner. The room was perfectly fine for the two nights. The room was very clean. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely property hosted by a family. We had lovely breakfast and dinner served both nights looking over the rice paddies! Bed was comfortable. AC cold and wifi good for Sri Lanka! The accommodation was perfect for us a couple who have been hostel and home stay hopping across Asia! The location is very rural which is just what we needed after hectic days of safari which was arranged by Kurumba lodge and they provided water, breakfast and lunch for us! Thanks so much we loved our stay!

Everything is very good, clean hotel, I liked everything very much, jeep safari, this is without words, a must visit, they made it possible for us that my neighbors and I rode in different jeeps and did not depend on each other. Many thanks to the owner of the hotel!!!

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They booked a safari in Wilpattu only 1.5 days before our arrival and everything was very well organised. The safari itself was much better than expected: we had the luck to see 4 leopards, a sloth bear and 4 golden jackals, on top of many beautiful birds and reptiles. The resort provided breakfast and lunch to take on the safari, as well as snacks and drinks. Everything was very tasty and plenty. Also breakfast and dinners were very tasty and more than we could eat. All in all, we had a very good stay. Thanks so much!!!!

Beautiful location surrounded by nature, with a big garden, where the delicious dinner buffet is served, made mainly from local food. Our room was a bit further, near a lake, and we were offered to use bicycles to get there faster. It was a peaceful place and the owner and all staff are super friendly and hospitable, you might find yourself leaving having another friend there. He arranged a full day safari in the Wilpattu national park for us, which we enjoyed very much. If you are considering visiting the Wilpattu area, we highly recommend staying here.

Super nice, comfortable and clean room in the midst of nature. We had a self cooked dinner which was delicious!! Very nice staff. I can really recommend this accommodation if you want to do the safari since it’s super close to the park entrance. We will miss Guri the dog of the property 🥲

    Perfect place for exploring Wilpattu Nature parc. Very clean rooms, delicious food and excellent staff. Anthony was a perfect guide and driver at the safari and we enjoyed his company and knowledge. We surely recommend wilpattu wildhideaway

    Great location, located close to the entrance of the park. The suite has a plunge pool in the shade, very refreshing! Beautiful lake for birding located right behind their property. The guys are super friendly and also advised on type of safari. The safari itself was out of this world, while many cars did not see much that day we saw 3 leopards, elephant, bear, and much more.

    Very friendly staff and excellent diner (3 courses). Location close to the park and binoculars are offered for the safari. We enjoyed our safari. It is a beautiful park and we saw many birds, deer, one elephant and one leopard for 10 seconds in the bush. Based on the good reviews we had hoped to see a bit more of a leopard, but we were happy because the day before no elephants or leopards had been seen. So you need to be a bit lucky.

    A good location close to park entrance. Anton was a charming, knowledgeable host, with excellent english. A keen wildlife photographer. Breakfast and evening meals were very good, and safari breakfast and lunch plentiful and tasty. The safari, organised by Anton, was excellent, especially birdlife and leopard sighting. Binoculars and wildlife books were available to use. The whole stay was very enjoyable.

    We absolutely loved our time at Anton's. He could not have been more helpful, answering all our questions before we arrived. The rooms were simple and clean. The food was so delicious - especially the dinners served in the cute dining room with lamps. The hotel is only a few kms from the national park entrance. Anton arranged our safari with Harsha, which was great, and even drove us to our next location. A perfect stay.

    The loveliest host with thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Also helped us out with getting some things we needed in town, and gave us a lift to the bus station. Clean room, gorgeous dinner with a special / romantic set-up. Perfect location, short drive to the national park. Highly recommend.

    The perfect location to stay if you are in for a Safari in Wilpattu NP. Hi Almost next to the entrance. We recommend to book a day tour in the park with the owner of the lodge. Anta is a super host and a super tour guide and can tell a lot about the wildlife and the park. The lunch and breakfast in the jeep were excellent. On your return you will be treated to a delicious 3-course meal in a romantic setting in the garden. Always different and very tasty. Just a big THANK YOU!
