i loved my stay in Gabaa! Aesthetic place surrounded by forests where you can enjoy symptomy of birds all day long. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay. I will never forget taking a dip in pool after a long day of visiting ancient cities. There was silence, serenity and two monkeys playing in the tree. it felt surreal! 😍 Prabat is THE BEST CHEF in whole Habarana! make sure to stay in for dinner and ask him to prepare his famous chicken curry! service was super Kind and helpful - Thank you for making my stay unforgettable.

Helpful hosts and wonderful location to stay. You can just sit in the terrace and watch nature go by. I extended my stay for 2 more nights. You can walk to the town with scenary views in 15-20min or host can take you with tuktuk. Good food.

Highly recommended! This is the most exclusive luxury resort we ever stayed in (only 10 rooms) and the service was impeccable. The staff did an amazing job of understanding all our needs and then helping us accordingly. The rooms and the property were really nice. The pool was probably the most scenic I ever saw. The food was great too and served in a very unique setting. Definitely worth the money!

The host is extremely welcoming, kind and professional. We came here because our original hotel was overbooked and we cannot be grateful enough we ended up here, we feel super lucky that we could stay here! Beautiful garden and peaceful neighbourhood, best dinner we had in Sri Lanka :) also amazing breakfast! The host is very informative and helpful, fixes everything for his guests, he is very service minded and lovely. Rooms are big and beautiful, super comfy bed, top notch clean, amazing shower with proper hot water and water pressure, so far this is our best experience in Sri Lanka!

The Hotel is located in a very spacious location. We got one of the newer rooms. The hosts Lieyon & Wanda are very helpful. Explained everything you need to know at the check in. We had dinner one night and was tasty. Breakfast was very good, with fruits and vegetables and a curry. Fruit juice and a choice of Tea or Coffee. The pool has a jacuzzi which was excellent to help you relax after a busy day.

I really really recommend Visu Villa! Ruwan is very kind and helpful. He can arrange whatever you need, from massages to safari trips. We felt like we were at home. Everyday there was a live music show in the afternoon. Food is also fantastic. Everyday we get different local breakfasts to try different things. In Visu Villa everything was amazing 😍

Highly recommended! My stay in Habarana was amazing, the owner will do everything for you to make you comfortable, he arranges tuk tuk and tours at reasonable price. He took me in his tuk tuk many times without cost, his wife cook delicious and also they can make you dinner as per request. I really had a good time! Thanks new star homestay ❤

    I recently stayed at Habarana New Star Home Stay for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation offers three rooms: two with air conditioning and one with a fan, all featuring ensuite bathrooms and kept very clean. The friendly hosts were a highlight, providing excellent hospitality and offering tuk tuk services to nearby attractions. The breakfast served was delicious, adding to the overall pleasant stay. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from town. Highly recommended!

    you can not go wrong with this well managed hotel. rooms are convenient and very clean. the included breakfast is realy good and kalhara is a smart host and gives any help with safaris, renting scooter, transport to or from his location. especially when you arrive by train a quick transport can be arranged by telling kalhara as soon as you know your estimated arrival time. best idea for me was renting i scooter. but you can walk to the village just 800m away. i can recommend the place.... thx

    Nice modern place which was very clean with a beautiful garden. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and also included coffee or tea. Dinner was offered during my stay at an additional price and was also outstanding. Great location, very central if you want to visit Sigiriya, Pidurangala, Ancient City of Polonnaruwa, Dambulla and Ritigala. There are also a lot of opportunities to see wildlife including elephants in the area. Would highly recommend for anyone travelling in Sri Lanka.

    Excellent place! The rooms are spacious, very clean and modern. The place is quiet. There are only two rooms and are fully separated so you will not get noise from next door neighbours. The balcony is very nice to to sit there and relax. The owners are very friendly. Breakfast is delicious and even too much :)! Great location! Only 5 mins walk to big supermarket and bus stops. You can take bus easily to Sigiriya or also the tuk tuk is very cheap as the rocks are close by. There are direct buses to Kandy or Anuradhapura.
