The place is wonderful, the room comes with all the comfort needed - but we are mostly grateful to have met the hosts, an amazing and caring couple always open to help and give great insights about places to visit or Sri Lank itself. They cook, and it simply was the best food ever had.

Mahamed and Fatima are the most wonderful hosts, and there is no doubt they enjoy having guests, and want their guests to be as comfortable as possible. They made our stay truly memorable, and I wish we had time to stay longer. I will for sure be back, this place comes highly recommended from me! Surroundings are gorgeous, hiking on every corner, it's quiet and calm, and you will eat like a queen with Fatima's food (she should have a restaurant). I haven't eaten that well in all of Sri Lanka, and it's been my most pleasant stay. If you are into nature, mental relaxation, great food, and slowing down a bit, do make sure to book at least two/three nights with them, and just enjoy!

Location is amazing, in the middle of the tea plantations. The bed and shower are great but i mostly enjoyed the balcony with a great view. Amazing value for money.

We came as strangers and left as friends! Saman and his wife Madushi and his brother Shan together with their mum are incredible hosts! They are so friendly and helpful and gave us many tips for the area. The guesthouse was exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful view from the cozy and bright room. Food was always very delicious. The area is very calm, you can see sunrise and sunset from the tea plantation just 5 minutes from the guesthouse. We've planned to stay two nights but because it was so nice there we changed our plans and stayed longer. We also visited the local Sunday market to buy fresh vegetables and made a fabulous cooking course and learned how to cook traditional currys. We highly recommend to go there and experience unforgettable days in the middle of tea plantations. Thank you Saman, Shan and Family for the last days - We enjoyed every moment at your wonderful place. We will come back one day :-)

Exceptionally clean and modern room for a given price. Shower with a door, enough towels, toiletries and beautiful view if you wake up early enough before a mist comes. The lady who takes care of the facilities is very kind, gave me a lot of tips of how to move around and organised a tuktuk tour for the morning. Also she cooks delicious rice and curry. Highly recommend staying here.

The location within the tea plantations is perfect with a breathtaking view down to the plains. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is great. Rooms are spacious and very clean with a wonderful view from the bed. The owners organise a Tuk-Tuk for a whole day for a reasonable price. We started our trip to Horton Plains very early (5:45) and were provided with breakfast boxes. The owner takes ecology protection seriously, no plastic bottles or plastic bags are being provided.

We visited Horton Plains and were looking for a place that felt safe, peaceful, and like home — and Tea Sprig Villa Boralanda was the perfect find! This is one of the newest and safest villas in the area, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. We stayed for 2 nights, and what made this place even more special is that we were their very first guests — what an honor! 🙏 The family running the villa is super friendly, warm, and caring. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and made with so much love. The clean fresh air, hot water, and beautiful surroundings made us feel like we were in heaven.     Beautiful peaceful location. A perfect place to refresh and reset away from the busier, more touristic areas. The owners are so kind and sweet, you will truly feel at home here. Also very delicious food ! And all at a very reasonable price. If you like to hike, you can summit Wangedikanda in a 5 hour round-trip (for FREE) Cannot recommend enough. Amazing !
