We had a wonderful two-day stay at Kotmale Homestay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat. Whether you're exploring nature, historical sites, or simply enjoying the scenic beauty of Kotmale, this homestay is a perfect base. Our stay was absolutely faultless and all of the staff were lovely. We had a wonderful relaxing stay with some amazing food! It was a beautiful location surrounded by nature, we saw so much wildlife and the noises of all the birds are amazing! The road to The Weir House was quite an adventure which we loved as we felt in the middle of the jungle but does make it harder to access. We visited Kandy in a tuktuk and it took us around 50 minutes but was a beautiful journey, the botanical gardens were stunning. From The Weir House we went to Yala which was an amazing journey with some cultural stops along the way, I would highly recommended our driver Pradeep (SN travel) who the hotel organised for us. Would highly recommend!

We were SO happy to find this place late in the evening after a long day of driving. Little did we know what a true paradise we found until we woke up in the morning and saw the surroundings. Nothing but nature! Birds, monkeys and even deer roam the property! Amazing views on Adams peak and other mountains from the lovely balcony. Clean drinking water, a great breakfast, a clean and comfortable room, the owner and staff are wonderful - couldn't have found a better place. We will 100% be going back there for longer.

This place is just perfect if you’re looking for a quiet gateway away from the city rush. The room was nice, the owner and the staff were amazing and very helpful, food was delicious and the view from the pool was out of this world! If we’ll be back in Kandy, we will definitely stay in the Grove again! Thanks for having us! :)

The hotel is situated in the heart of the tea fields and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the vast mountains and Adam’s Peak. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with great attention to detail. The staff were extremely friendly and exceptionally accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The food and service are outstanding. Highly recommend, Five stars.
