Amazing owner, family business with a lot of hapiness and amazing service. Safari they organise is top quality. Would recommend to eat in their restaurant, absolutely great (non spicy) Sri Lankan curries. There is an amazing home spa nearby, organized by locals, in case you arrive in the afternoon and want to relax right away. There is a printed paper in the room with their contact information. I would definitely recommend going as a couple (same time treatments possible).

What an absolute stunning place! The cottages are beautiful, so comfortable, from the huge bed, to the super clean bathroom and the terrace invites you to sit and relax in the middle of the most beautiful garden. The owner greeted us with a welcome drink and even organised milk for our baby late at night when we arrived. It looks amazing in the pictures and even better in real! Best accommodation we had during our trip in Sri Lanka! This place deserves the best rating ever!

We absolutely LOVED our stay udawalawe safari house! After changing our plans and coming to Udawalawe a night earlier than planned (and in need of some luxury), this place was exactly what we needed. The hosts were so friendly, the buffet dinner was delicious and great value and the swimming pool was amazing. They organise safari for us with easy and served breakfast on return. The rooms were well sized and comfy. Would 100% Recommend!

An amazing and friendly place to stay in Udawalawe National Park. Accommodation is very nice and clean. Dushan gave us a lot of information and types for another places in Sri Lanka. We also booked 6 hours safari with Dushan's brother. It was amazing! Our guide told us a lot of interesting information about every animal in the park. We weren't in rush at all, he stopped at every nice place or when we spotted an animal. We didn't see almost any other jeeps. They also prepared for us delicious dinner, that was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Thank you 🙏

This is a brand new villa, very nicely decorated & comfortable. Surrounded by nature, you can spot many birds! The hosts are very nice, plus you can do safari with Leel and it's THE BEST! Really, we had an exceptional tour with him, skipped the crowds, and sunrise by the lake (no other jeeps!) was 👌🏻👌🏻 100% recommended!

The staff here are exceptionally good - the whole place is run by a very small team who seem to work very long hours but are always friendly, helpful and smiling. They somehow manage to keep everything spotlessly clean, make delicious food, organise trips and deal with any issues, and still have time for friendly chats with guests. I hope the owners appreciate what a fantastic and hardworking team they are, the hotel wouldn't nearly as good without them. This is an excellent place to stay for visiting both Udawalawe and Lunugamvehera national parks. We asked the hotel in advance if they could arrange these safaris for us and they sorted it all out at the price I'd have expected to pay. They also arranged for transport between the hotel and both our previous and our next destinations for a reasonable price. The food here is excellent - make sure you have the curry and rice, and the Sri Lankan breakfast (request them in advance as they need time to make them). The room was clean and very comfortable, with plenty of space and all the facilities we needed. It has a good view to the back of the hotel where you can see lots of birds, including some resident peacocks. It's very quiet in the rooms, you can't hear any noise from the road and there's good soundproofing between rooms. The small swimming pool was clean and had a few sun loungers around it.

    Location is lovely with a range of birds, monkeys and even fish in the little river. Rooms are huge and the biggest we have stayed in in Sri Lanka despite being he cheaper price of the rooms. Food was really good and overall the best value for money that you will find in Sri Lanka. It was a lovely extra touch for the manager to give us the leaving gift and extend our check out time to later in the day so we can do the safari and have time to freshen up.

    A peaceful location, ideally placed for visiting the Natural Park. The team who work there are incredibly helpful - special mention to Chanaka and chef Shamika, but they were all good. Rooms were spotlessly clean, food was good and the pool was very welcome.

    We loved everything about Nature House. The staff were incredibly friendly and service-oriented. The rooms and general facilities were spotless. The location was ideal and the food delicious. It was quiet and we enjoyed seeing sunbirds, leafbirds, koels, tailorbirds, and many more bird species while eating meals. And with all this the price was very reasonable. Their safari service to Udawaldawe was excellent with a driver who had a great eye for birds and natural history and good knowledge.

    The room was lovely with a small balcony overlooking a field. It was very clean & the bed was comfortable. It was ideal location for visiting Udawalawe safari park. We saw several elephants opposite the hotel entrance behind the security fence.
