An amazing and friendly place to stay in Udawalawe National Park. Accommodation is very nice and clean. Dushan gave us a lot of information and types for another places in Sri Lanka. We also booked 6 hours safari with Dushan's brother. It was amazing! Our guide told us a lot of interesting information about every animal in the park. We weren't in rush at all, he stopped at every nice place or when we spotted an animal. We didn't see almost any other jeeps. They also prepared for us delicious dinner, that was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Thank you 🙏

Leel's place is the best place we have being in entire Sri Lanka. The place is well cleaned, beautiful, calm and romantic. Leel is a wonderful host, honest and decent, taking care of everything, making sure you will have the best stay. Leel's mother cook delicious food, served so well. The breakfast was made by Leel's wife and it was so good and tasty. Leel is the best Safari guide you will ever find in Udawalawe. He knows all the best spots in the park and provided us the best Safari experience we could ever ask for. I wish Leel all the best and I definitely recommend you to visit.

What an amazing place! The bungalows are very clean, and very well designed. I loved the shower and the hammock outdoors. This is one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka. Such good value for money! All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, very clean, comfortable bed, clean pool, the breakfast and dinner was amazing, great location close to restaurants. I could keep going on! They also organised our transport from Dikwella and to Ella as well as an amazing safari. Thanks so much for your hospitality :)

Everything! Possibly the best customer service I’ve ever experienced- and I’ve travelled a lot. Everything was clean. Food was amazing - be sure to eat all meals here if you can. An outdoor shower was a real highlight too. The family could not do enough for us. They even came along on the safari tour with us in case the guide didn’t have good English. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The staff here are exceptionally good - the whole place is run by a very small team who seem to work very long hours but are always friendly, helpful and smiling. They somehow manage to keep everything spotlessly clean, make delicious food, organise trips and deal with any issues, and still have time for friendly chats with guests. I hope the owners appreciate what a fantastic and hardworking team they are, the hotel wouldn't nearly as good without them. This is an excellent place to stay for visiting both Udawalawe and Lunugamvehera national parks. We asked the hotel in advance if they could arrange these safaris for us and they sorted it all out at the price I'd have expected to pay. They also arranged for transport between the hotel and both our previous and our next destinations for a reasonable price. The food here is excellent - make sure you have the curry and rice, and the Sri Lankan breakfast (request them in advance as they need time to make them). The room was clean and very comfortable, with plenty of space and all the facilities we needed. It has a good view to the back of the hotel where you can see lots of birds, including some resident peacocks. It's very quiet in the rooms, you can't hear any noise from the road and there's good soundproofing between rooms. The small swimming pool was clean and had a few sun loungers around it.

    Location is lovely with a range of birds, monkeys and even fish in the little river. Rooms are huge and the biggest we have stayed in in Sri Lanka despite being he cheaper price of the rooms. Food was really good and overall the best value for money that you will find in Sri Lanka. It was a lovely extra touch for the manager to give us the leaving gift and extend our check out time to later in the day so we can do the safari and have time to freshen up.

    A peaceful location, ideally placed for visiting the Natural Park. The team who work there are incredibly helpful - special mention to Chanaka and chef Shamika, but they were all good. Rooms were spotlessly clean, food was good and the pool was very welcome.

    We loved everything about Nature House. The staff were incredibly friendly and service-oriented. The rooms and general facilities were spotless. The location was ideal and the food delicious. It was quiet and we enjoyed seeing sunbirds, leafbirds, koels, tailorbirds, and many more bird species while eating meals. And with all this the price was very reasonable. Their safari service to Udawaldawe was excellent with a driver who had a great eye for birds and natural history and good knowledge.

    The room was lovely with a small balcony overlooking a field. It was very clean & the bed was comfortable. It was ideal location for visiting Udawalawe safari park. We saw several elephants opposite the hotel entrance behind the security fence.
