Stayed here with my boyfriend for a few nights, wish it was longer. One of the most genuine and authentic experiences we've had. Ibtissam and Val welcomed us and showed us around the qaint village of sidi Kaouki. We spent days in the sun surfing and having dinner with the locals- basically taken in like family. The hostel itself is beautifully decorated with homemade authentic furniture, not to mention the beautiful pool and fire pit outside. The breakfast they make you is super filing and full of authentic Moroccan cuisine. Such welcoming staff and friends at the hostel. Couldn't recommend this place more.

I was looking for some “me time”, not a surfer, just wanted a laid back peaceful place to relax in and walk along the beach. La Maison des Vagues is SO perfect for this. Comfortable, cozy, lots of different spaces, great food, fab staff, a pool and they can organize all the activities like surfing/horse/dromedary rides, quads, visits to Essaouira (recommend), yoga and massages. Really mixed crowd from families with young kids to groups of same sex friends, older couples and a few Moroccan families too - such a nice atmosphere, gracefully curated by Christèle and Christophe, with their right hand woman Soukaina who is ACE! Thank you to all the team for delivering exactly what I was looking for.

Villa Maya is situated in a quite area at 30 min from Essaouira by car. The house has really relaxed atmosphere and the staff was so kind and did everything to make it comfortable for us. We could swim, play jeu de boules, dart.. Could really recommend Villa Maya.

Yves and Carolina have created a beautiful oasis where you can stay and relax (and cook!) all day or easily go to Essaouira or Sidi Kaouki beach. They are the sweetest hosts who will give you great tips for the area. If you're lucky you can spot a turtle or two, but you will definitely meet a very nice dog, some cute cats and a sweet donkey. We stayed for 5 nights but did not want to leave...

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and kindness, making me feel instantly at home. The atmosphere is truly special—relaxed, friendly, and full of positive energy. The cleanliness of the entire place is outstanding. Every corner, from the rooms to the shared spaces, is well-maintained, creating a fresh and comfortable environment. The shared kitchen is a fantastic addition, fully equipped and inviting, making it easy to cook and connect with fellow travelers. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful pool, perfect for cooling off and unwinding after a day of exploring. The sense of community here is incredible—whether you’re enjoying a meal together, sharing travel stories, or simply relaxing in the common areas, you always feel like part of a family. The team at Dar Iziki goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. Their hospitality is truly top-notch, always available with helpful tips and warm smiles. I can’t recommend Dar Iziki enough—if you’re looking for a welcoming, clean, and social place to stay, this is the perfect choice! I’ll definitely be back. 10/10!
