Rajesh who owns the property, met us at the airport in the car we were hiring from him. He was helpful with our luggage and of great assistance on arrival to the property. Food and drink was there and fresh bread. Trips could be arranged through him and his friend had a restaurant not far from where we were staying. The view of the river was excellent and the apartment was like home from home with large rooms and verandah. We would definately rebook with Rajesh and his wife again. Car hire was good and in good working order.

I absolutely love Otentic. This was my second time visiting and it definitely will not be the last. This time I was able to bring my friends with me who loved Otentic also. The hospitality exceeded everyones expectations and the quality of the food. Everyone was able to take the time to enjoy all the excursions available and especially the peace, quiet and tranquility. The bar system was perfect based on an honesty policy and we all took turns to play the mixologist role :) which was a lot of fun. All the staff were fantastic, kind and very warm. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of. Sheila was an exceptional cook and we all enjoyed her food and wish she would come out with a recipe book so we can replicate her dishes. She definitely cooks with a lot of love. I cannot wait to come back to Otentic again. Thank you Julien and team

Nice boutique 5 stars hotel. The entire staff is friendly and happy to resolve your problems. Jude the responsible guy for the boat trip is a great and nice guy, ready to offer you an unique experience. Kevin the room keaper was really open to resolve our issues and the clean was just GREAT ! So, everything is nice, the price was decent for the entire experience. The food is excelent and the drinks as well. A BIG thank you !

The apartment is very nice, well fitted with everything you might need, clean. Location is on the main road and easy to find. But the best thing is the care and kindness Kerstin is putting into making your stay a memorable one. She made reservations for boat trip, restaurants every night we spent there, kindly offered to call the airport for our lost luggage. The only thing I regret is not knowing that her husband is a Romanian foodie - we would have brought him some supplies. So, shoutout to all Romanians going there: bring over some polenta flour / mălai and goat cheese and you will make a guy happy very easily.

He texted us a day before we arrived to confirm all the details and make sure all was planned and set for our arrival. -He booked for us a day trip to Iles aux cerfs which was very nice -The apartment is comfortable and well maintained -Very good location facing the river

    Everything. Rajesh was wonderful with us. Location is perfect, the apartment is brand new. Lots of food for breakfast. He also can arrange a day trip to Ile aux cerfs with BBQ for a very reasonable price.

    This was a very chilled location. We enjoyed the free kayaks and saw monkeys on the river bank. The free boat to the island is a great half day trip. Whether its to work and chill out or just chill you will enjoy it. The food was amazing and good introduction to Mauritius cuisine. The staff were all friendly. The drinks and honour system worked well. Nice coffee and breakfast. Couldn't ask for more.

    The apartment is located in a beautiful, new apartment house with a swimming pool. The house stands in the middle of a quiet village. The apartment on the first floor has a view of the neighboring gardens and the courtyard on the other side. Breakfast is not served but the owners put ingredients in the kitchen and bring fresh bread every morning.The apartment is very comfortable and the kitcen is fully equipped. The location is ideal to explore the eastern side of the island.
