Very nice, clean and quiet room. Super good breakfast (Mexican and yoghurt + granola). Good Wifi. The whole estate is in extremely good shape and beautifully built. The hosts were super friendly and we felt very welcome from start to finish. The hosts are a family of weavers which perform the craft of carpet weaving. You'll see lots of their work on display and you can also buy the beautiful pieces. We could park our rental car on a dedicated parking spot right in front of the estate. The drive to Hierve al Agua was roughly an hour. Can highly recommend the place and would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at Fernanda & Fernando’s lodge boho-chic style in the middle of flowers, greenery and eclectic decorations. We first stayed in a double room then moved for the last 2 nights to the room with king bed and kitchen, which is a worthwhile upgrade. The hosts and their staff work hard to keep this huge compound welcoming and clean, it seem to have further expansion plans. We could not use the beautiful pool as water was a bit cold (normal during this season) and did not eat at the restaurant as it closes at 5-5.30pm, too early for us after spending the day visiting the region. The village of Huayapam is an excellent surprise. Great location just 30min from Oaxaca center and easy starting point to visit Monte Alban, Mitla, Arrazola, Hierve el Agua and so many other fascinating places. Tiny but super cute with amazing restaurants, esp the family run Luz de la Luna (we live in Peru and the food and cocktails are at the level of some best Lima restaurants). Huayapam and its friendly inhabitants are worth being much better known and supported! Mil gracias y suerte!!!

It was a perfect experience, like arriving to your grandma’s place. Chalet is exceptionally cosy with a fireplace. The hosts even put up a xmas tree :) and prepared the wood for the fireplace. Some cutlery was missing as we were amongst the first guests but hosts quickly and kindly took care of everything. Perfect base to do the hike through Pueblos Mancomunados. Road to the village was fine.

Beautiful private apartment with great kitchen (everything available). Very clean and well arranged. Really good atmosphere.The appartmentbuilding (with patio) is located in a very nice local neighborhood, and there are extremely cheap taxi's right around the corner taking you straight to the city center in 10 min. I was very sick when I arrived and Perla, the host, brought me wonderfull homemade food, soups and teas for days in a row, to help me get better. Which was really the kindest thing. A very heartwarming place. Would highly reccomend.
