Fantastic place to explore the wildlife around Kinabatangan River. Jaidi, our guide, had an amazing eye for spotting animals. Kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Do not expect anything fancy but the ratio value/price was excelent. The rooms are simple but beds are comfortable. It is not a lodge by the river (you have to walk for app. 5-10 minutes to get to the river) or in the middle of the rainforest but you get an excellent guides who are proffesionals at spotting the wild animals. We have seen elephants, crocodiles, proboscis monkeys and longtail macaques on our cruise. We havent seen orangutan on our morning jungle walk but the other group saw them by the cave and the staff organised a special trip just for us (for no extra fee) to the cave in the afternoon so we could track them. And yes - they were there! so if you prefer the experience over the quality of the accommodation (dont get me wrong, the rooms are just fine but simple), this is your place.

It's very cost-effective. The owner of the house is very enthusiastic. I highly recommend jungle river. If I come again, I will bring more fishing rods to fish! It happened to be Mr. Afiq's birthday, and they warmly invited us to attend! Thank you very much! We are very happy and happy for the healthy development of this family.

The rooms are ok, but really in the middle of the jungle and just in front of the river The best part about the place is Lynda, she is like a living documentary she just wanted to show us all the animals in there and we saw them, Rhyno hornbill, elephants, crocodile and basically all the kind of monkeys we could see, just an amazing experience with her being the best guide possible The food was really good too and also the experiences out of the normal package I really recommend the night cruise, is something amazing being in that river in a small boat at night Loved it! I didn't expect much from a lodge, but this one is a really great place! I loved the food, the staff, the surroundings (even the monkeys stealing your food) and the services provided
