Although there isn’t a pool or sea close by, also our children found it the best place we visited so far in Nicaragua. It’s a quiet and comfortable location and Gilbert prepares excellent food for the complete family. His neighbour, a farmer, is also very willing to take you on a trip around the area. Cotran Sur is a walkable distance too; or a super quick and cheap shared taxi ride away. The location worked perfect for me, as I planned to take buses to nearby locations such as Miraflor, Estanzuela etc. It is close to supermarket and local shops, so you can buy fresh produce for your meals.
