Loved everything about Carlos's place. Large, modern, bright room - very clean with good aircon and private bathroom. Small seating area on balcony outside the room. Only a short walk to the centre. Delicious, varied breakfast. Carlos was a lovely man and the perfect host.

The hotel is legitimately a Secret Garden oasis right in the heart of the city! Perfect location near some of the best restaurants and all the main attractions of Granada. Breakfasts were delicious, the owners were so welcoming and friendly and we were enchanted by the hotel space. Absolutely recommend!

A truly exceptional place, one of a kind! Beautiful: The place looks as if journal pictures came alive. Lots of greenery, the pool is large, lots of beautiful details, art, you can keep taking pictures there forever. Clean and comfortable: It is impeccable clean, the pool was cleaned every day, there are no spots in any furniture both inside the room and in common areas. Every detail is of high quality. Pleasant smells wherever you go. Room: The room is large with plenty of storage place and nice decorations. The bathroom is large and beautiful with fresh flowers and a shower with good pressure. Breakfast: Oh you don't want to miss it! Yves attends himself and we got spoiled with eggs of our choice (omelette with cheese and vegetables is yummy!), crepes with homemade jams by his wife (yum yum!) and a bowl of fresh fruit.The breakfast was not only about food, it was the whole experience by itself. It is one thing to be a nice host when everything moves smooth, but we had great experience even with all the troubles we caused. I think this is what differentiates a good host from a great one, Yves being the great one obviously :) - We checked in past midnight, Yves gave us a warm welcome. - We had daily early morning tours, where Yves woke up at 4-5 am to open us doors and prepared freshly squeezed orange juice. - My partner got sick, Yves suggested a doctor and took good care of him. - We thought we lost a wallet in the room and found it later, Yves managed the situation professionally. - I was going out alone at night with phone and money in my hands, Yves saw this and gave me some safety talk :D - I am a fruits junkie who just had to buy a big papaya. Yves offered to store the papaya in his fridge for several days in spite of it being full. Yves, we can not be grateful enough, thank you and your wife so much. Both the dorm and the private rooms are amazing! I really enjoyed the pool area, the open kitchen - and most of all, the friendly staff. Breakfast was really good too. I would totally recommend.

Both the staff and facilities/events are great. Stayed here twice, left at 7am on Friday and came back 9.30pm on Sunday after a trip to Ometepe. They allowed me to leave my main bag with them while I was gone, which meant I could just take my small bag to Ometepe.

    Very satisfied with this hostel as a budget choice. A very good location in the center. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful for anything I needed. Hostel is cleaned everyday and my room and bathroom were cleaned regularly. Nice pool to cool off in the Granada heat. A good choice of places to relax outside the room. Good free coffee every morning. Wifi worked well save when Grananda suffered an occasional short power outage.

    The breakfast was great ad served with a smile. We thought the staff were really friendly and helpful and tolerated our sometimes noisy kids well. We felt very welcome there. The hostel was very clean, comfortable and inviting to relax in. It was surprisingly quiet given its very central location.

    Our room was very comfortable, fresh with one ceiling fan and also a portable fan, location is great and I felt like home. Staff were friendly, breakfast was great. Carlos is lovely, took us for a car tour around the city when we arrived, gave us a map, recommend tours, restaurants and cheap local as well. Also gave us a ride by car to the terminal to take the bus to Ometepe.

    We loved staying here! The rooms are basic, but very comfortable, very clean and well looked after. The staff are all so accommodating, kind and efficient. We had included breakfast with multiple options, cooked fresh and very delicious. The location is great with restaurants, bars and the main square a very short walk away.

    central location friendly welcoming helpful staff facilities was amazing relaxing quiet common area with hammocks, nicely equiped kitchen, very clean always and all the small details makes me give this a 10 (free things here and there etc) at first i was scared when i saw a big dorm room full of bunk beds (i havnt stayed in a hostel room in almost 20 years) but i slept really well, bed was comfy, the floors / bathroom / everything was clean always
