I had an absolutely amazing stay at Martin Place in Purmerend! The space is not only charming and comfortable, but also filled with the warmth and personality of a true home. One of the highlights for me was the quite area with bus and train station nearby for Amsterdam and other locations.

We have a great time in your hostel, everything was good. Beds are so comfortable and clean 👌 near bus station that brings you directly to the centrum of Amsterdam. VERY nice place - wish we would have had more time there... extremely clean with all that was necessary for a great stay. The location is super with only 5 minutes to shops and restaurants/cafes. Has own courtyard to relax in too! Vincent was very accommodating and friendly. Hope to stay there again!

Outstanding location - a very short and cheap bus ride from Amsterdam gets you to a romantic small town with excellent views, quality restaurants which are not overcrowded by tourists. Stay at Fortuna Spinoza as a highlight of our trip. It is better than on the pictures, its VERY clean, from our room we had a magic view to the garden. Breakfast was excellent with a big attention to detail and local products. Edam town is nearby too. Prerfect value for spending time in Amsterdam but still experience a romantic atmosphere of small town.

Wonderful place, wonderful Carmen! For those who are wondering whether to choose this place, I will say - hurry up, you will not regret it. You have a whole floor of a house where you have everything you need and you feel like home! The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! The place is very convenient for accommodation, close to the road and away from the noise of the central part of Amsterdam. At the same time, you have a bus stop literally 10 minutes walk away, where the bus stops you right in the central part of Amsterdam. Parking is free, convenient and safe! For those traveling by car, taking you to the highways is quick and easy! And Carmen herself is so smiling and hospitable!!! We are happy that our stay in the Netherlands was right there! We highly recommend this place!

    The staff were very nice and the hostel has a lovely terrace and bar area with cheap drinks, this is a nice place to meet other travellers. The showers and toilets were very clean and always available.
