One of those exceptional places where you instantly feel at home and wish you'd booked an extra night. This hotel is more than just a hotel. The owners make you feel like part of the family they are there to help. They are fourth generation owners and they have got everything correct. A beautiful historic hotel in a tranquil l setting next to a lac. Absolutely perfection itself. Nothing was a problem. I am lactose intolerant and they prepared different meals for me. The breakfast had so much choice even vegan cheese which was really lovely, and while I'm praising this hotel, I would just like to say they have the best coffee in Norway that I've tasted. Congratulations for treating their guests as friends. When we come back to Norway we certainly will go out of our way to stay there again. The location overlooking the lake is Paradise, with the nicest owners.

Great cabin in the forest! The cabin has been renovated nicely so still has log cabin features but modern kitchen and bathroom plus modern TV making it very comfortable if the weather is not so good outdoors. Handy location with only 10mins drive to Hellesylt where you can catch ferry to Geiranger. There are also plenty of nice walks in the surrounding hills which the host Kim Andre was very kind to tell us about. Would definitely stay again:)

A nice old wooden hotel. The Staff was very suportive and helpful. They served tasty breakfast.
