My wife and I visited Thamel recently and stayed in Kathmandu Aguntuk hotel. This hotel is located in the prime location of Thamel. The breakfast was really good! All the staffs were super helpful throughout our stay. We were about to miss our flight while coming back from Nagrokot, due to the prompt action of the taxi driver Mr. Kapin and the hotel Manager Mr. Subash, we were able to catch the flight. My wife lost her phone while the flight. Hotel manager Mr. Subash found the phone and reached out to us. We are very much great full for the help and hospitality we have received. We strongly recommend this hotel!

Super helpful staff, free airport transport, nice breakfast and super cheap laundry service right in the middle of Thamel . The room was comfy and spacious. If we come back to Kathmandu, definitely coming back, no complaints.

Perfect hotel! The staff is excellent, responsive, helpful, and smiling. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I spent two days at the hotel and have no complaints whatsoever. The hotel arranged a fantastic tour of Kathmandu and the surrounding areas for me. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and I highly recommend it.     Stayed at the kailash boutique hotel for 5 nights , property was spotless and in an excellent location , room was very clean , bed was super comfortable. Staff were first class , extremely helpful and very friendly. The manager Dol couldn't have been more accommodating, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

    Very nice New hotel, very clean, shower is great with a lot of pressure, comfortable beds, ideal location in Thamel area, quiet street, super nice staff doing all their best to serve you, very good breakfast buffet, amazing ratio price/quality! We also booked our trekking tour with Dol (the hotel manager) through Third Rock Adventures and I highly recommend them. They have a 99% satisfaction rate on Trip Advisor with 629 reviews to this date.

    This hotel is fantastic value for money. The service is excellent, particularly from Dev the manager who went above and beyond to look after us and make us feel at home. The rooms are very clean, the included breakfast is delicious and the location is great - close enough to walk to the thick of it, but far enough away for it to be quiet. If you’re looking for somewhere affordable and simple, but very comfortable, stay at Chhimeki!
