Katie and Wayne's place was a hidden gem,beautifully decorated, spacious and warm.it was very quiet, with the young man next door who twice sorted the tv out for us which he did in in a pleasant manner.,there was no pressure to leave early.it was close to amenities.it was nice to have a bit of luxury.

    Lovely big room, very clean and comfy. Location great, a lovely lakeside walk into town for dinner. Very quiet at night, the hot tubs were lovely and only $15 NZD per person for 45 minutes. Amazing value for money- this was the cheapest place we stayed in NZ.

    Great location and the most friendly staff I've met. Also affordable. Spotlessly clean, has hairdryers in the female bathroom! Spacious communal areas, including a backyard with lots of seating and a barbecue. Lots of info about the surrounding outdoors. Dorm was spacious, with big lockers and sockets inside the lockers. Comfy bed with a thick duvet. They even recycle!
