They are so friendly and happy to help with everything - restaurant recommendations, booking bus tickets to Machu Picchu, giving general advice for Machu Picchu, booking a private guide etc. The breakfast included was amazing too - fruits, egg, bread etc. - perfect meal before setting off to Machu Picchu. You are by the river, very close to the hot springs, the train station and bus stop to go to Machu Picchu and Ollantaytambo. The staff was super friendly, polite and kind. They allowed us to use the room until 2pm until our train departure and prepared breakfast for us at 5 am as we had an early departure for Machu Picchu. The location is great as it is a short walk to the train station and the bus station. There are many places to eat nearby. What we did like was that it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. In additon the water was very hot which is something we have not found often in Peru. If you have to leave for Machu Picchu before it is time for breakfast they will make you some food to take with you. The staff were wonderful and could not do enough for us. The hotel is very unique and cute setting. Rooms were very clean and comfortable bed. Surprisingly, very powerful hot shower! Amenities and clean towels are supplied every day. Basic but good selection of breakfast.
