The hosts were really friendly and helpful. We could also leave our car for 3 days while doing the Santa Cruz Trek. They even drove us to the Collectivo departing point for Vaqueria and helped us find a good Collectivo. All in all really friendly hosts, we can totally recommend this place! Compared to other places we’ve stayed it’s less noisy, but still not completely quiet.

Very nice new hotel with clean room with modern bathroom and super owner,who took us to the bus terminal by his own car and helped us to find the correct bus.We also could leave things in his hotel while treking.I reccomend!!!

Ricky has a dream to make a lovely, comfortable, friendly place to stay for travellers in Caraz-and he is doing a great job of it. Our balcony private double room was a good size, nice views over town, warm comfortable bed and good hot shower with pressure. Such a lovely property, extremely comfy beds and a clean bathroom. Great big tv in the rooms, perfect for having a relaxing evening in after a long hiking day. Dina was so helpful each time I asked her to help me get on to a tour or arrange a self guided hike with a taxi. Kitchen was a great and always clean.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Carhuaz, Casa Hospedaje"Los Capulies" is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was bitten by a dog one evening and the owner offered to drive me to the hospital that night (didn't end up doing that), but then he brought me to the local clinic in the morning and helped explain what happened since we didnt have much Spanish. Extremely grateful for that! Otherwise the place itself was nice too - comfy beds and a spacious room. Breakfast was decent in the morning too. They also allowed us to make a couple.of sandwiches in the evening to bring with us on a tour the following day since we were leaving very early.
