Very nice, new room! Batuan is close to chocolate hills, tarsier reservation or Pangas waterfalls. The owner is very nice and helpful! He arranged us also tuk tuk for the trip. There is also small restaurant and the food was very good. Absolutely recommend :-)

Amazingly welcoming lady and super nice room with an own bathroom. Better than many more expensive accommodations we stayed at. The room was very clean and stylish. Also the owner made us vegetarian dinner and breakfast up on our request which was very positive surprise!

It was a wonderful stay. The place is new to booking and it’s just perfect. We were welcomed with kindness by Odelia and her family, always ready to help and to do anything so you feel like home. The room was clean and had useful details (hangovers, a place to leave the clothes, etc) which make the difference, specially when you are travelling for a while. Odelia offered us morning coffee and ‘guaba’ so it was a nice wake up. The surroundings are simply beautiful. It’s a 10 for us, we are definitely recommended it. Let’s help this familiar hostel grow!!

The location is off the beaten path providing a rural vibe. Angel and his family are the most warm and kind hearted people we have had the pleasure of staying with during our time in the Philippines. While staying here you are considered family and we don’t say this lightly! The location is close by some villages, waterfalls and a short motorbike ride away from the beach. The main tourist attractions (tarsier sanctuary, chocolate hills) are a bit further away, but we loved driving around on the motorbike around the island, which you can rent from them for a very reasonable price. Angel also provided lots of tips and recommendations regarding where to eat and itineraries for exploring the island. You stay on a little farm with cute piglets, cats and a dog. Behind the cottage is a hill overlooking the island providing a beautiful view of the sunrise. Overall we can not recommend this stay enough, we had an amazing time at Bohol largely thanks to Angel and his family.

Niko and his family are the most amazing people we met during our month in the Philippines! They took great care to make our stay the best and were always helpful. Niko showed us around the area - we saw a beautiful waterfall, a non-touristy cave, fireflies and much more. He taught us how to climb palm trees and we got some delicious coconuts a few times :))) we talked every day and we were able to learn a lot about the history and culture of the Philippines from the source. we are so glad we could have such a good time and relax. Thanks to this place we had the most local and amazing experiences!!! The location is great and it is a 5 minute scooter ride from Chocolate Chills and many other attractions. this family has a beautiful garden where you can see many animals and the sounds especially at night are amazing .
