What a beautiful experience! From the first second we felt really welcomed!! The owner is doing her work with her heart and that makes it really special for us. Everything was just great! They have put a lot of thought into everything, every tiny detail was just perfect. Their dog is very goofy and playful, the wine is amazing and we were able to relax. They also provide you with great information about the area. They cleaned our room every day and it was spotless every time. They also offer activities like wine tasting if you wish. Overall excellent service and very welcoming.

What a place! We have spent a lot of nights in different places, but never ever seen anything like this. The house is amazing, the welcome was better than anyone can expect. Right at the end of a dead end street in the most remote, tiny and quiet village, there is this beautiful restored house with breath taking views over the valley. Everything, but really everything was thought of and better than ever seen before. If you plan to go to this area, and you like remote places, this house is a must stay! The land lady (sorry, we forgot her name) lives just around the corner, and welcomed us with such a friendliness and passion for her house and the surroundings. I am sure we will be back one day. The location was just perfect for what we wanted. It was close to the attractions in the area we had planned to visit and the village was nice to walk around. The accommodation has a small shop and restaurant that is also used by the local community as well. We found this a bonus as it enabled us to feel a little like we were immersed in their village life.

It was such a pleasure to spend the weekend in a place so special. The view is quite unique. Surrounded by nature, mountains all around. It really exceeded our best expectation. The rustic decoration matches perfectly the nowadays amenities. Dona Anabela makes the reception even more warm and special by introducing the history of the house. It is a home with a proper soul!

    Exceptionally beautiful nature around the village, with idyllic cozy restaurants serving good food and rivers nearby. The hotel is located in a beautiful location with a wonderful view. Super nice treatment by the staff who have that little extra in the hotel's personal interior design and they are also meticulous with the cleaning. They also have a good warm feeling with the presentation of the breakfast and the selection that is served to the guests. I can happily recommend this hotel!

    The hotel is ideally placed in the centre of Arganil. It's not 5 star but the staff were excellent and the room perfectly presented every day. This is a lovely part of Portugal with the mountains close by. I would recommend this hotel.

    Friendly proprietor, I arrived late evening, I was rather stressed by my long journey. He was kind and helpful, and quickly supplied me with a required beer at the bar. The room was very clean and had a great shower. Good selection of food for breakfast. Thank you.

    Gorgeous little house in the woods with inviting outdoor seating and a hammock. Marisa is an exceptionally good host and provides everything you might need and more There are lots of options for river swimming, some only 3 Kms away. We were pleased to have the option of a BBQ. It's in a very scenic,remote and quiet location and good for relaxing - we actually found the church bells from 8 am to 9 at night quite useful, no alarm needed.
