This is the perfect place to stay! Enjoy silence, the well equipped house and very friendly hosts! Beautiful hiking trails are directly around the house and on the way there from Madalena we had a great roadtrip along the scenic road along the lakes to the east of Pico. That we could enjoy evening sun on the upper terrace didn't we expect, but was a wonderful surprise. Even better was just seeing the sunrise from the bedroom :)

The location was incredible. So peaceful, ocean views, exactly what we were wanting to find. The building is beautiful and typical, full of character and charm. The hosts were lovely and super responsive. Would absolutely stay again!!
