The owner was very kind to us because we didn't have the car so she picked us up in the evening after the trip by ferry so it was easy and cheap to reach the place! The house was perfect with a complete kitchen where to cook (without a car it is quite difficult to go to the city for dinner, more or less 31 minutes by walking in a street where there are only cars). Everything was perfect during our stay!

The concept and execution of this guesthouse is excellent. The rooms and bathroom are clean, comfortable, and well-kept, offering full privacy, while the shared kitchen and terrace are spacious and thoughtfully designed – perfect both for relaxing on your own or, if you feel like it, interacting with neighbors. Everything is tastefully decorated and modern, and the kitchen truly feels like home. A lovely touch – fresh eggs and fruits. The town of Urzelina itself is beautifully maintained, with a scenic and well-developed cycling and walking path along the coast that stretches almost all the way to Velas Airport. Overall, we really enjoyed São Jorge Island and will definitely return.

Beautiful view and tasteful interior, wonderful hosts so helpful with anything you may need. Genuinely lovely space to stay in, much bigger than I even realised on the pictures. Perfect location for stunning sunsets. It was all so well kept and maintained, everything was exactly as you’d want, and more. Would definitely come back.

Very nice and comfortable rooms, which are really spacious. Besides that everything is well maintained and cleaned. The biggest plus is that it is family owned, so the host really welcomes you like family and takes his time to welcome you and tell you more about the island and can even give tips on which parts of the island to visit when it's foggy

    I don't know where to start. It has been the absolute best accommodation we have been staying at in a very long time. The hosts Lina and Rui are wonderful people and made us feel at home from day one. The views from their beautiful house are spectacular. The house (its actually a villa) is kept spotless and we were invited to use the kitchen, washing machine, the several terraces and pool. Lina and Rui asked us what they could do better and we didn't know what. All was perfect and we would love to return one day.

    The hosts Lina and Rui are the most warm and accommodating people, it felt like we stayed with family. The views from the dining room every morning watching to see if we could spot some dolphins while we ate breakfast was one of a kind. The location was great as we were 3 minutes from the airport but we didn't have to drive down a mountain to get to the house. We loved sitting by the pool, either in the sun or under the pool house roof. Lina makes sure everything is spotless each day. This was such an enjoyable stay!

    We loved the location and area but there was a problem with our daughter's room (Susanne Rego) - the air conditioner did not work at all and there were lots of ants in the kitchen and surrounding areas. The staff was vey kind, especially Max and the young lady that checked us in. We did enjoy the beautiful island of Sao Jorge very much!
