The location was spectacular. The rooms lovely and comfortable with a great bed and a modern bathroom. We loved the view, the balcony and the pool area. The breakfast was excellent. The bottle of Madeira wine was a lovely touch.

The apartment is beautiful and very well equipped. It is very clean and they have an air conditioner + heater which was also really comfortable. We also loved the shower. The host is really nice, responded really quick and was eager to solve any problems immediately. She even left a little welcome present. We can definitely recommend the apartment and the host. We would definitely stay there again!

What a beautiful place to stay! The gardens, the home, the proximity to the viewing platform and sea. I really enjoyed my stay. I felt very comfortable and welcome at all times. I can't believe guests were offered fresh vegetables from the garden and eggs from the farm's own hens. Perfect stay. Thank you so much.

Beautiful location in the mountains. Stayed there while hiking Madeira from east to west. Spacious and immaculate clean room, big and comfortable bed, good shower, shared kitchen in perfect comdition, nice and clean shared lounge/living room, you check in at the restaurant right next to the rooms, the hosts are absolutely lovely, and I can recommend dinner and breakfast at their restaurant, they close at 7 actually, but some people arrived later and got dinner from the menu, too. So the hosts are an absolute delight.

This family owned B&B is in a beautiful location, with stunning views. The studios are very private, and have balconies overlooking the mountains. The communal areas of the property include a ‘glass room’ and a cosy living room with fire. Both are gorgeous. The property layout gives a great opportunity to choose whether to keep yourself to yourself, or to mingle with others. The family are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Id recommend this place to anyone.

    Amazing location (right in a heart of Santana) and great deal for money (you get what you pay for). You can also do your own laundry (by hand) outside at dedicated place (which is perfect if you do hiking trip). Breakfast was really sufficient and diverse (from 8am to 9am). Overall we felt comfortable (good quality mattresses) and welcomed. Highly recommended.

    • The location is ideal to visit Pico Ruivo. Or to hike PR1.1 or parts of PR1.2 and PR1.3 (and many other stunning mountain hiking trails in this area of the island. • It is also calm and quiet in the area, away from the hustle and bustle in Funchal. • The host that received us at the property was very friendly! Made us feel right at home!

    Very clean, compared to the rest of Madeira, feels totally different. Much room for private parking, well equipped kitchen. Nice countryside location, can hear the village roosters and dogs :) Levadas close. Santana center close.
