This hotel has such a great location overlooking the ocean and the cliffs. The rooms are very comfortabele, spaceous and luxurious. The bed sleeps wonderfull. The breakfast is exceptionally good and the staff is super friendly. The vieuws, the pool and the garden are breathtaking.

Great location. Very nice view and very quiet. Close to hikes and viewpoints in the north of Madeira. The host is very friendly and recommended a few great places to eat. Highly recommended if you like staying in traditional houses.

The studio is very clean, well equipped and just feels like home! You can tell Sandra and Olides put a lot of effort in it. It was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at! The bed was so comfortable, the studio was cosy, the views are amazing. The host was very helpful and easy to contact. There were cookies, fruit and wine waiting for us when we arrived and they even brought over fresh traditional bread one day. The location is great for exploring that side of the island. There are some pretty viewpoints nearby, the beach is a couple of minutes by car and there is a big supermarket in the village. I could not recommend this more.

The location was perfect for us as we wanted something in the North. It could be a bit closer to the center for us it was perfect, with a little supermarket up the road (2 min walking). The host is amazing, so nice, everything was perfect in place, clean and they offered some welcome cookies. The house is really comfortable and well prepared, specially for the 2 kids we had with us.

Cozy and nice house in with nice views. The house, garden, location, views and pool exceeded our expectations. The indoor pool near the living room with openable doors and windows allows enjoying swimming in every weather. Very welcoming and helpfully host. Helped us with tips for our stay, locations, sightseeings, shops and probably everything that could be needed. Location with nearly all day sun. Morning sun for pool and evening sun for great grill area. Well-equipped kitchen. During our stay there was everything needed for first days for kitchen, laundry washing, dishwasher, coffee, tee... everything We can definitely recommend the house and Porto da Cruz for enjoying Madeira.

The hotel is really very beautiful. the staff is nice and helpful and smiling. The breakfast was varied and a large selection. I had dinner in the restaurant and the local fish and mussels, including Madeiran wine, were delicious. The room was luxurious with a balcony and a view of the garden and the ocean in the distance. In addition, they also have parakeets and a great talking parrot in a cage near the hotel. He was absolutely charming and not only talked but had a great laugh.

    Accommodation met our expectation as it was cheap but still comfortable. Also, good location without crowds in case you want to get a full Madeira experience. Last but not least, there is a local cat we really liked :).

    As i am from Santana myself,but living in London i choose this house because as a good view around Santana. Was very happy by seeing the pictures but more happy seein in person. About Balbina the member of staff she was amazing with us.Making sure everything was OK. The house was very clean and made me feel welcome back home. Thank you Balbina.

    Our stay was amazing, we enjoyed every moment spent at the accomodation. Teresa is a lovely host and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms are cleaned every second day, the breakfast is lovely and the location is perfect, outside of the city in a quiet and beautiful place. We will always look back to our trip and think of this beautiful accomdation.

    My husband and I really liked the hotel! located in a quiet location with a beautiful view of the ocean! We would also like to say a special thank you to the owner of the hotel. we needed to leave early in the morning and she kindly prepared breakfast for us and left it in the refrigerator. I can confidently recommend this hotel!

    Sparkling clean. Host Teresa is very welcoming. Excellent breakfasts, cereal, fruit, yogurts, ham, cheese, nice bread or toast, eggs cooked for you. Ideal location for exploring north Madeira. Very cosy in the winter. Lovely views of the sea from the breakfast terrace. Nice pool area for the summer. There is a boot washing tap and stone sink with a brush for your walking boots. You need a car but there is a lovely levada walk which can be done from the house if you are waiting for your hire car to be delivered.
