A hotel on a quiet street in a central area but away from the hustle, yet with excellent transport connections to tourist attractions. The metro and bus stops are just across the street, with a beautiful park nearby, small grocery stores, eateries, and two large supermarkets very close. Comfortable beds, quality bedding with no detergent scent, which I really appreciated. Very clean room and bathroom, with good quality toiletries. A good hairdryer as well. There is a flight path over the area, meaning occasional aircraft noise. We really appreciated the excellent soundproofing of the windows. Good breakfast. Perhaps a bit repetitive for a longer stay, but the food was always fresh, tasty, and plentiful, especially the fruits and cakes. The best Pastel de Nata in the city! The lobby bar serves good red wine and a delicious tuna sandwich - served warm! Highly recommended! Exceptionally friendly staff, both at the reception and in the dining area. The people here truly good at their jobs! It’s hard to say when we’ll be back in Lisbon, but when we do return, we’ll definitely stay here again. And now we know what to recommend to friends!

Tp be honest I was really suprised with my stay in Pousada Alfama. It was everything amazing, from the check-in to the check out. They gave us some beers, pasteis de nata, chocolate, Coke and also a tile, painted by hand, as a gift. The coffe break is really nice, everything was clean. There is a coffe/tea machine 24h available for you to have free coffe. THe location is also really nice, 5 minutes walking to the Sao Jorge castle. I reall recomend and I would certainly stay there again.

    An absolute gem. A quiet oasis very close to Lisbon. Really quiet and a lot of green space. Benjamin is a very responsive, friendly host. The Quinta is huge with a lot of green space to explore, beautiful historic buildings and classy decor. You can chose from a lot of different spots to relax or work. The common kitchen is very well equipped, organized and clean. Rooms very clean, too. They even had a cheap laundry service returning our neatly folded.
