This hotel was wonderful, I would absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Sao Jorge. The woman who ran the place was so kind and friendly. She let me check in early (I'm sure it's not always possible) and she gave me restaurant recommendations and told me a bunch of places to go see that were walking distance around town. The room was well decorated, comfortable, and modern. It was great to have a desk. The bed was really comfortable, so if you like beds that are a little soft, this was a good one. The shower was really good. There was a shared kitchen for guests to use, and even though I didn't really use it, it looked good and if I was staying longer, I would've made a few meals. The fridge in the kitchen had individual trays for each room so you could put stuff in there and keep yours separate from everyone else's, that was a nice touch. Overall this was a really fantastic hotel and I would definitely stay here again if I ever get back to Sao Jorge.

There is no way that there is a better place to stay in Velas than this beautiful house with amazing views straight to Pico Island. The handover keys was perfect even though our flight was delayed by 8h. The house has everything you need (well, missed some olive oil for cooking hahaha). Room are spacious, living room is huge and the terrace with the views and the barbecue are just perfect. The house is a 1min drive to the main supermarket in Sao Jorge and parking is right outside the house. House is big enough to host 7 people with plenty of space. I really find hard to believe that there is a better place in Velas!!! And the biggest thumbs up for our hosts, because we had a ferry late at night and we could check out late afternoon, that was a huge life saver. Really appreciated.

    The owners are lovely, honest people. Spotlessly clean, everything seemed new, couldn't fault a thing. Great value or money. Easy location from ferry terminal, 2 min walk. 10 min taxi to airport.

    The location is stunning, peaceful, and marvellous. From the bungalows, you have a really impressive view over the ocean, to Pico island and to Pico mountain. The bungalow is comfortable and well equipped. Ideally located for the airport, Ferry Port, Velas, and touring around São Jorge. The owner is really friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. An excellent relation price - facilities. Highly recommend for your stay in São Jorge !!

    In some respects feels more like a boutique hotel than a B and B. Beautifully furnished and in a lovely location looking over the sea towards Pico. Lovely breakfast and very clean. Good value for money too. Would certainly recommend. Antonio the host is charming and very helpful.

    I arrived earlier than planned and was told my room was already ready so early check-in and leave my stuff to go hiking was no problem. Very clean room and towels provided. Friendly staff. Great location, right in the center of Velas.

    The little bungalow exceeded our expectations, the views of the ocean and towards Pico Island were beautiful and waking up every day having coffee with such views is priceless. The bungalow is small but we could find everything we needed to make us feel at home. Everything was very clean and functional, while still offering a big deal of coziness. The location was perfect for exploring the island, there is a natural pool just 2 minutes away. We would definitely recommend staying there!
