It was very nice and clean, great location, only 15 minutes away from Nucșoara where you can go further towards the trail head of the highest peak of Romania. We even found a little bottle of romanian traditional drink, tuica, waiting for us inside. Very good overall, I would say it's actually cheap for what you get!

Big spacious room ok the top floor (we had room 5 & 6. Lovely base with friendly staff. Adriana's mum showed us around. The facilities at bottom were great, kettle, fridge freezer etc. Beautiful views.. what a location. Worth a trip to lake Vidraru. Might even see bears! Modern room and bathroom.

The place was excellent. Very very cosy comfortable room. Super clean, beautiful bathroom. Balcony available. The kitchen was super,very very well equipped. Nice garden with table, banches. Super quiet. The host was very kind, perfect communication. I recommend this place to everyone visiting Transfogaras. It is 10 km away from Lake Vidraru.

The host was exceptional. Could not have been more friendly. She even gave us a home made tincture and cake - free of charge. There was a pleasant outside space to sit in, and she offers evening meal and breakfast, at a good rate. We did not have the evening meal - the property is within two minutes walk of local restaurants, but I highly recommend the breakfast. There was a large storm the night we stayed, and unfortunately the host lost power, yet she still managed to make a wonderful breakfast, offering us all sorts, including omelettes. The surroundings are stunning, and it is a great place to rest after travelling on the Transfargarasan Highway. As we were travelling with two children, the host allowed us to stay in a room next to the one they were staying in, despite it being bigger than the one we had booked, and she did not charge us any extra for this.
