Everything was amazing. We received an exceptional welcome, the food was healthy and delicious, and we got all the assistance we needed for touring. My kids loved the lodge and all the activities they experienced, including cruising on Lake Kivu, swimming, enjoying the fishermen experience, and of course, playing cards. We had an unforgettable time. The owners, Aicha and Ivan, are incredibly kind and caring. It was a wonderful vacation. Umurobyi is a peaceful and quiet place - with a great view, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

Gorgeous view from where you eat your breakfast and the garden. Staff were lovely and very helpful- highly recommend their night fishing boat tour it was amazing -completely authentic experience. The pictures of this place don’t do it justice.

This is truly a beautiful place to stay, and I couldn't recommend it more. The lodges are brand-new, spacious, and very well-equipped, and the views are amazing. The staff are all so friendly and they really go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. It's a great place to relax but they also offer a ton of activities in the area. Wish we had stayed longer!
