We had a wonderful time alone in this little paradise. Nyen and her husband from Burma, who cooked for us wonderfully, are people with a big heart. They spoiled us! Saw also took great care of us and was always available for us. The place is unique - pure nature. We enjoyed it very much and let our souls dangle. The time and space allowed us to find peace. The social and sustainable background of Guillaume and his team is exemplary and made us book "Somewhere only we know". See you next time. Thank you very much for the happy time. Isabelle & Brigitte

Mbar is the place to stay in Haad rin! Cannot wait to come back next year. All the staff are amazing and very helpful, facilities are very clean and maintained throughout my stay. An extremely comfortable and clean stay. The rooms and bathrooms were amazing and we even had our own little back garden which was again amazing. The hosts were super helpful. They helped sort our taxis everywhere we needed to go. Gave us all the help you could ever ask for as well as nice extras like an open fridge with loads of drink options.

Amazing place with a soul. I stayed 10 days there. Good quality beds with proper curtains. Lots of space outside rooms to hang out. Great garden area where each evening some activities took place. Delicious vegan breakfast. Great vibe in the coffee shop. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed out. More expensive than other hostels on the island but I think it’s worth it. They organize a lot of activities each day, yoga, meditation, journaling. I met a ton of nice positive people there. Property gets cleaned nicely every day. Lovely owners. You get a sense of belonging there. I’d definitely come back.

    We had an absolutely amazing time at the Sunsea Resort. The room was spacious and clean. Great location, just in front of a small quiet beach, ideally to relax. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back!
