Good price so did not expect much but wow..big room súper comfortable huge beds,luxiry linen too..extremely clean and the pool and all other areas are well looked after, the staff are a delight and work so hard to make your stay enjoyable, so helpful in every way,we extended our stay by 2 days it is so good and i would highly recommend here

Such an astounding hostel! It's perfectly located in the old town, but very quiet at night. The hostel is immaculately clean and very comfortable. Beds are amazing (I stayed for three weeks, so my back knows what I'm talking about!) and there's a lovely complimentary breakfast served every morning. There's also soap and shampoo in the showers, towels are included, and the wifi is very fast. Paul and Koki, the owners, go above and beyond to help, suggest, and organize anything the guests might need - even if it's not hostel-related! They're so attentive and friendly that the stay was a 10/10 just because of them. I can't recommend Pakping Hostel enough, and I would book here again in a heartbeat. ♥

I stayed at this place recently and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in many ways. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and kindness. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the female receptionist, who is originally from the Philippines. Even though her Thai wasn’t fluent, she made a strong effort to communicate with us clearly and always did it with a smile. Her kind and gentle nature really made me feel like I was staying with family, not just at some accommodation. She truly deserves praise for her dedication and attitude. The room itself was clean and cozy. There was a slight paint smell, probably due to limited ventilation, but once I turned on the air conditioning, the smell faded a bit and became more bearable. I really appreciated that each bed had its own personal fan—it made sleeping very comfortable. The mattress was soft and cozy, and I slept very well during my stay. One thing I’d like to mention is that the listing said the room had a private bathroom. However, I found that the bathroom was shared, as another male guest (a foreigner) also used it. This was a bit unexpected, and I think it would be great if the property could make that clearer in the booking details. If it’s not a private bathroom, guests should be informed in advance. That said, the bathroom was clean and came with complimentary body wash and shampoo. The body wash had a lovely scent that I really liked! Another small issue was that in the morning, I wanted to buy some water, but there was no one at the front desk. I tried calling multiple times, but no one picked up. It would be great if there was staff available during morning hours, especially for guests who need something basic like water or check-out assistance. As for the internet, it was a bit slow at times, probably due to many people using it at once.

Great location- clean rooms and a really comfy bed! The receptionist was so helpful when I cut my toe- he cleaned and dressed it for me too days running. The hotel also booked us a day trip to the Elephant Nature Park!
