We love this place! They welcomed us with lovely flower arrangements up on our arrival, and local fruits. The room was clean and well kept. The place is quiet and relaxing. The food was great, everything fresh and a large choice. Now for the service, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We celebrated our wedding aniversary and they were very intentional in preparing our moment. Thank you so much Bovly, Edwin, Dori, Edina, Lucy and all the staff members (sorry I don’t know all the names). We recomend this place 300%

First.. Friendly staff. Reception, Restaurant, Lady taking care of the room. Everyone was there for us and we feel very welcomed. The staff was receptive to many requests from trip booking, special arrangements around my partner birthday day to preparing the meals. Secondly... the view from hotel is stunning. The favourite moment of the day was entering restaurant for breakfast with beautiful panorama of the Ocean and the pool. Thirdly.. beach with nearby sandbank. We visited couple places on Zanzibar and this one is very nice, sandy wide & very long beach for walk lovers. Finally... this is a boutique place. Rooms furnished with quality of furniture and sense of elegance. Only 6 rooms and you walk out of your room directly to the beach (we stayed on ground floor). We were very satisfied spending a week in Imara.

As a guest at Shirley's we loved the great service and cleanliness of the rooms. The best thing is the close access to the beach and it's facilities. As a couple we share a birthday and we chose to celebrate it in zanzibar at Shirley's Residence. Shirley's made us a romantic set up by the beach and the chef prepared a delicious 4 course meal. The best part was the birthday cake which was enough to share with other guests...it was the best celebration ever. They really made us part of their family. We will forever be grateful. The management continues to work with us regarding everything we need from them, and in Zanzibar even when back home.

The staff at Alpha Boutique were very pleasant and eager to ensure we were comfortable.They welcomed us in when we requested for early check in given our flight time and also took the initiative to send an airport shuttle upon our arrival at 3am. The rooms were very clean, Tacha and Rasheed were excellent!

    Very cozy little hotel , very close to Kivengwa Beach. Beach was really nice and beautiful . Have seen something like this only on pictures before - it was like being in small paradise . It's also a nice, quiet spot surrounded by greenery. Our room was simple but comfortable. All is new and room was very very clean!!! Meanwhile, I really like the staff, it was very nice as well. Would recommend for travelers looking for a simple, eco-friendly and affordable option close to the beach for sure!

    Best vibe, best staff, literally two steps and you’re at the beach so it has a perfect location! Breakfasts were served in a buffet and staff was helpful all the time. Special thanks for Sacha who worked there and organized all the trips we went to in a very good price- including Safari Mikumi. He was always available and helpful, organization and hospitality were on point! I recommend it a lot if you want to do it on a budget too. Best experience ever:)
