I have had a truly exceptional experience with Far. He is such a warm and loving person and makes your wishes and needs his first priority. He organized all the tours for me, including climbing Kili, we went to the gym together, had dinner together and so much more. It felt like being with a really good friend. I could not imagine a better place to stay for my time in and around Moshi :)

We absolutely loved our time with Dee and Peter at Mkoani Homestay. They and their friends were all so welcoming and showed us so much of Moshi and the surrounding area. Dee also made sure my birthday was special! And catered for our vegan and pescatarian dietary requirements with delicious breakfasts and dinners. We cannot recommend Mkoani Homestay enough - hopefully we will be back in the future!

Karim and his team are simply the best! They made everything possible for us, whether flexible check-in and out times, spontaneous excursions or food requests. The accommodation is also super located and there is love in every detail of the facility. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there and can definitely recommend. This is such a perfect place if you want to experience genuine local life in a beautiful town. This place is in a gorgeous setting- the forest around is just incredible with so many different plants. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We did a tour with a family member (Baraka) to the waterfall and loved it- he shared lots of local knowledge and history with us. We also did the coffee experience and highly recommend it. Everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming. I would love to come back and spend more time here.
