Room was well furnished, and everything was incredibly comfortable including the bed and pillows. The host was excellent and very welcoming – we had a great chat, and he recommended some great places to eat. The place itself has a lot of character both inside and outside the rooms (particularly if you're into Star Wars). Also fairly quiet at night given its location on the main highway.

    For the price it was good . Very clean staff was very friendly. Older style room the bed could have been bigger thought it was a queen it was a double but comfortable. Had everything we needed . Breakfast was just a few pastries and bananas and apples .But again for the price it was something I would not have been able to afford a hotel on a holiday weekend if they jacked up there prices like everyone else.

    Captain John's is right near the marina, which was my favorite place to walk around in Coos Bay. It is also very close to all the great and famous beaches there. Literally the perfect location. And the people were really nice.
