It’s in such a good location that feels very safe and is close to lots of good pubs/restaurants as well as lots of beautiful walking paths with ideal views of the city, Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz island. Excellent location...easy walk to Fishermans Wharf and Peir 39 and close to restaurants and bars on Columbus. Good public transport links. Hotel itself is old and the room we were in was small, but it was clean and comfortable. The shared amenities were spotlessly clean with plenty of liquid soap,shampoo, etc. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
