Amazing bungalow with comfortable bed. The best is the balcony with a stunning view on the mountains, where you can enjoy the sunset. The owner is very kind, we get some local strawberries and plum from the garden and the dinner was made from the local veggies. And the bonus... two cute dogs. 10/10 👍

Beautiful house with very welcoming warm family. They were trying their best for us to feel comfy. Food was just amazing and trying sugar cane amd corn prepared in fire was very interesting.

The Sunflower was perfect, New, Clean & Comefortable with Great Staff & Management. We travelled from Hanoi to Ninh Binh to Phu Luang and Moc Chau on our way to the Land Above the Clouds - Ta Xua. We made the Sunflower our Base while we explored the Moc Chau area for three Days. We hired a Motorcycle & explored Caves, Tea & Fruit Plantations, Theme Parks & Waterfalls. We found an awsome little Bakery & some great food places. There is a big Dairy here and their local Yogurt with Black Rice on top...Do your mouth a favor and enjoy while your here.

Breakfast was abit limited. I’m a British so there was a language barrier but the staff was accommodating at all times bringing the translator out. Really nice place indeed,buggy service is excellent always there when you need it

This could possibly be the best guesthouse on our travels around Vietnam. Our host Nhung organised travel between Mu Cang Chai to Moc Chau and then onto Ninh Bihn for our group effortlessly and efficiently . The rooms are set within a beautiful garden. Small ponds with carp surrounded by trees which are lit at night making garden come to life after sunset. Rooms are spacious and use high quality finishing which included a wooden bath which was a delight for some of our family. Large flatscreen TV allowed us to view some Netflix before sleeping. Beds very comfortable and king size. Our stay included breakfast which was amazing. Nhung’s family also own a a cafe which does meals a short distance away called Halian Garden Coffee BBQ. The BBQ and Hotpot are fantastic and if in Moc Chau make sure you visit! There is various activities and sights to explore nearby including the Glass Bridge at Moc Chau Island which also has a cave to visit. We will definitely be returning on our next Vietnam adventure. Thank you Nhung 🤗

Hoa Phong homestay is one of the best places to spend a night or two in the beautiful and peaceful village of Ta So. Of course, one shouldn't expect luxury but the facilities are excellent considering that this is a remote village high up in the mountains of north western Vietnam. Apart from the facilities, another thing that impressed me and my wife is the friendliness of the host, A Hang, and his wife, Y Hoa. He spoke good English and was more than ready to help us arrange a taxi to fetch us from town (and back to town) and assisted us to communicate with our transportation provider to Hanoi (note that English is seldom understood in that part of Vietnam). He also took us around his village and gave us a glimpse of the villagers' life. Oh, and not to forget, we enjoyed the delicious dinner and breakfast his family prepared for us. Truly a great place to visit if one is looking for something different from the usual tourist spots in northern Vietnam.
