If there is one word to describe our hosts it is 'caring'. From the moment we arrived in Sa Dec until we got on the bus to leave we were incredibly well looked after by Phuong and his lovely son. Plus lovely food cooked by their wife and partner who we didn't have the pleasure of meeting . The boat was small but perfect (plenty of storage for bags) and it was delightful being on the river watching the world go by. Sa Dec is worth visiting . It didn't feel at all touristie. We were able to wander through the fascinating market without being bothered and sat at a street corner cafe watching the supplies being biked to the market. The Ancient house is worth a visit to listen to the hilarious guide. And the flowers in Sa Dec are stunning. We highly recommend this accommodation and this city. We are so pleased we chose it.

The staff is nice, patient and willing to help... They can provide a motorbike at a fair price or call a taxi if needed to get to the city and back to the bus station... But if you walk about a kilometer there is a cafes, a supermarket and even a real market... The hotel looks like an old colonial vila and has a small tropical garden... The rooms are huge and super clean and nicely decorated or equipped (AC, fridge, english speaking TV chanels). There is also a nice and good family restaurant around the corner for your breakfast or eventual dinner... 😄

I stayed for 3 nights in the “pastel scheme” room. I loved it because is cosy, feminine, comfortable with the river view, have a big bathroom assigned. The owners have a second room, above the library/cafe ( very quiet tho) which is more like 2 big rooms linked, in a rustic, traditional style. The whole place is build, decorated very tastefully. I think that’s because the owners are wood crafters, masters really and they have an eye for interior design. Amazing place and atmosphere and I wanted to stay longer.

The hotel is new, modern, clean with large rooms. It is easy to access, has good WIFI, strong showers and secure parking. The staff were friendly and despite having limited English all my needs were met. It's next to food places but you'll need a motorbike to get around as it's too far to walk into town. 5 min drive to town.
