The Palm Lodge is a lovely new hostel right in the center of Phong Nha. It only opened a few weeks ago, and you can really feel how passionate the owner, Hung, is about his place! Hung and his staff genuinely care about your well-being and always make sure you feel at home. On top of that, they run a small restaurant where you can enjoy delicious local dishes – everything I tried was fresh and tasty! If you need help booking tours or rentals, they’re more than happy to assist and give helpful advice. All in all, I had a great stay at The Palm Lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Phong Nha!

I have been travelling through Asia for several months now. I've not experienced a hotel like this before. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and centrally located. The family speaks good English, is friendly and very helpful. They helped me with the communication with the immigration office, the country border when I left the country or booked the bus ticket for me without making any money. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Super host family who were very kind. I was able to park my bicycle inside along with two other long distance cyclists who were there also. The lady who runs it got rid of a damaged bicycle tyre for me and was able to do some washing for me. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants round about. I was given baked sweet potatoes and there's plenty of free bottled water. Downstairs there's a nice lounge with TV The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfy. A really friendly and very good value stop.

Excellent location in an authentic vietnam house and neighborhood close to the water. Excellent service from our host, Hung, met us at the gate, arranged bicycle rental for our stay, and recommended the restaurant. 7th heaven restaurant was superb, pizza cat's over the big bridge has Excellent pizza. Photos of house on Booking.com are real.
