Tuyen Quang is a great city to visit, but what really made my experience great was booking at this homestay. The house is really new and modern so money is really worth it. The owner and the staffs are well trained and professional they will help you whatever you need. The owner speaks English as well so it’s easy for a foreigner to stay in. It is also a convenient place because it is near the market shopping centre restaurant and so on.

we absolutely loved staying with Dai and his family. we stayed in a bungalow and were treated to an amazing meal with the family and other guests followed by entertainment from a local dance group. Lots of rice wine was encouraged and a little karaoke to top the night off. Dai took us on a boat ride to watch the sunset over Thac Ba Lake - stunning!

Incredible nice Family with a lake that invites for a sunset swim. Basic beds and a true Vietnam experience. I definitely suggest taking part in the family dinner. It was delicious and they are very grateful when it comes to serving ricevine. I actually came by twice and I would come again. Great spot to take a break between Hanoi and Ha Giang.

Exceptional homestay experience. The best lakeside location with comfortable terrace and steps down to swim in the warm lake. Staff so helpful...booked us some amazing trips and also found us a way of getting by bus to our next location....we would never have managed without them! May not be cheapest in area but its a proper local enterprise that trains up and provides employment for local people...they truly believe in giving back to their community. The food is incredible...every night a banquet of different dishes eaten with staff and other guests. Honestly the best food we've had in Vietnam. Rooms are rustic but spacious and comfortable. All in all an experience not to miss if you want to experience vietnamese culture and hospitality at its best
