Mr Kim is the absolute best of the best. Helpful and pro active. Before we knew we wanted it he already arranged it. Staying in Sapa for a few days it was 120% perfect.

Hotel in a great location for visiting the city center and also offers a wonderful view of the city. The rooms are very nice, clean, and tidy. Breakfast is good. The staff is very kind and helpful; they are really friendly and, if you have a problem or need something, they will help you find a solution. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Sapa.

Great location, near the lake. All the staff are helpful and very polite. Good communication, and good English as well. They gave us banana and drinks when they knew we were about to take a trip back to Hanoi.

The Lung Chung Doi Sapa is a very special place. Staying there was like going back in time. Though the rooms may seem basic (entrance level for luggage and bathroom; upstairs loft for sleeping and relaxing) they are perfectly comfortable, with heated bedding, plenty of blankets, pillows and cushions, an electric kettle to make tea/coffee, and great views towards the mountains. Note, however, that the stairs to the loft are steep and narrow. Meals (breakfast and dinner) are served in the dining building (across the garden from the rooms). Breakfasts were simple but fine and dinners were excellent value (hot pot, barbecue, etc). The hosts were friendly and welcoming and I'd especially like to thank Anh for her hospitality. This is the perfect place for young travellers, and the young at heart.
