The room is big, very comfortable, quiet and has a helpful washing machine. The hotel is quite far from the main touristic spots (for example the old quarter), nothing that a taxi or Grab bike doesn't solve it. The staff are very polite, helpful and speak perfect english. I would absolutely stay here again if I want to keep a little bit of distance from the crazy and noisy main spots of Hanoi.

During my many trips in the past, I have stayed at numerous hotels, but Sao Mai Boutique Hotel truly offers the best experience I have ever had. The rooms are spotless, well-organized, and carefully prepared — from the bedding to every little detail creating a sense of comfort just like being at home. The rooms are always fresh, with stable hot water and tastefully arranged furnishings. Breakfast at the hotel is a big highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious dishes that cater to both Vietnamese and international guests. The staff are attentive, always smiling, and ready to assist with anything guests may need. For me, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at, and I will definitely choose it again for my future trips to Hanoi.

Stay in this hotel was really good experience which met our needs of a clean place with kitchen & comfy beds. Rooms were very clean and we stayed for 4 nights. The property is far from old quarters but we could easily commute around with grab taxis. Close to convince store & cabs were easily available all time. Well maintained interiors & a cozy bedrooms.

This is a great new apartment close to the Old Quarter. The whole street is dedicated to motorbike repairs, but we were not disturbed by any loud sounds (7 nights). The room was exactly as on the pictures, really new facilities, big TV with Netflix if you want to chill out a bit. The bathroom is clean, no problems with hot water, just sometimes have to wait 2-3 to heat it. We’ve also used kitchen to cook breakfasts, the apartment had the necessary appliances for that. Air conditioning worked perfectly. A cool bonus is that there is a laundry on the roof floor that you can use for free and then dry clothes - this is a real luxury in Vietnam! And most importantly, the place is owned by a very supportive and kind woman.

My stay there was amazing. May and her family are extremely kind and generous. The room was really big and comfortable and I loved all the small details and the toiletries offered. The location is perfect if you don’t want to be in the noisy busy old quarter (15 mins drive) and walking distance to nice cafes and bars in the Tay Ho Neighborhood. I would highly recommend this place!
